Moldtech has recently built and installed 3 stationary tables in Philippines for the production of half-slabs to build the bridge decks of the iconic Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway bridge, which will connect Cebu City with Cordova town on Mactan Island.

The project, an important milestone in the country´s infrastructure and an impressive engineering marvel, is being built by a consortium comprised of Spain-based Acciona and two local partners, First Balfour and DMCI.

This joint Venture entrusted Moldtech the design, fabrication and installation of these tables in a temporary facility at construction site. The tables have been designed and built according to client´s requirements, with 35×2,5m size and with two collapsible side shuttering bands. The tables also feature a pneumatic vibration system.

Together with the tables Moldtech has also designed and supplied different types of magnetic shutters for a flexible production of different sizes of slabs.

After the installation of the equipment and training of local workers, the tables have been working at full performance to allow the client to meet the demanding execution deadlines.
